Promotional Material for San Diego Zoo

Creating a realistic 3-dimensional environment is what sculpture is all about. This sculpture, which became the key element of the San Diego Zoo’s promotional campaign for the new elephant feature, prompts viewers to fantasize that a fossilized mammoth might metamorphosize into an Indian elephant and walk away.

“Mami Wata,” below, is a Nigerian Orisha created for the World Festival of Sacred Music. This Glendale Newspress article references her appearance on the 3rd Glendale Open Studio Tour.
